Mazda Programs

Graduate Program
Eligible Vehicles:
All new, unused and certified pre-owned vehicles including MCI company vehicles and Dealer demonstrators sold and delivered as retail during the program period.
Fleet units are not eligible
Graduate Eligibility
Canadian residents who have graduated between April 30, 2012 and April 30, 2015 from an accredited Canadian university or college. If the customer has not yet graduated, graduation must be within 90 days and be supported by a letter from the Registrar Office.
The eligibility period is determined from the date shown on the graduate's official transcript. No exceptions from this period will be considered.
Vehicle must be registered (RDR and licensed) in the name of the graduate.

Only one graduate claim per customer.

Note:
Graduates from foreign schools may qualify; however, the applicant may be required to provide proof that the school is accredited through the applicable governing body.

Certificates / Attestations are not eligible.

Condensed 2 year programs are not eligible.

Eligibility is limited to 90 days from new vehicle delivery. (i.e. Dealers who do not apply for the Graduate Rebate at the time of delivery have 90 days following delivery to submit their application.)

An applicant's degree cannot be used more than once.

Date of issuance is not the Graduation date. This is the date the transcript was issued to the customer which is in most cases is different than the actual graduation date. Always look for the Graduation date or the date the diploma was awarded on the transcripts.
Program Elements:
  • Mazda Canada Inc. will pay a rebate, a portion of which includes the applicable GST/QST/HST.

    The rebate will be used as a down payment and assigned to the selling dealer. The rebate should be deducted from the final selling price after all taxes.

    If the customer is unable to provide the required documents at the time of delivery, the dealer can withhold the rebate until the documents are provided and pay the customer afterward. However, all other elements of the program, including the 90 days from delivery eligibility, are still valid. A special note must be made on the Claim form to explain this circumstance.

    The Graduate rebate is in addition to any consumer retail incentives that may be available from Mazda Canada at the time of delivery.

    As this is a consumer offer, an acknowledgement (Incentive Claim Form in eMATE) must be signed by the customer.
    Owner Renewal Program
    Purpose:

    The Owner Loyalty Program exists to provide repeat Mazda customers with a loyalty incentive for their continued patronage. This program applies to existing customers who are either purchasing an additional Mazda vehicle or trading in their current Mazda vehicle for a new Mazda vehicle or CPO vehicle.
    Customer Eligibility:
    This program applies to existing Mazda customers only or family members in the same household.

    Customer does not have to be the original owner of the existing Mazda vehicle. However, the customer must be current registered owner of the existing Mazda vehicle and must provide proof of such (i.e. copy of ownership in customer’s name).

    For family members to qualify, they must reside at the same address as the existing owner.

    There is no model year restriction.
    Vehicle Eligibility:
    Any new or demonstrator Mazda vehicle, either rate subvened or non-subvened as financed through Scotiabank or leased through
    Mazda Financial Services are eligible for the discount

    Fleet deals are ineligible for the Owner Loyalty Program.

    CPO vehicles financed through Scotiabank or TDAF.
    Program Elements – CPO Vehicles:
    Eligible CPO vehicles and Owner Loyalty discounts are outlined in the monthly CPO bulletin.

    Qualifying customers are eligible to receive the specified rate discount published by Mazda Canada off standard rates or the published Mazda Canada subvened lease and APR finance program rates. The contracted consumer rate cannot fall below 0%.


    Owner Loyalty offers are non-transferable and may be extended at MCI discretion.
    Funding procedure – New or Demonstrator vehicles:
    When entering the RDR, select the appropriate Renewal Type: APR Financing Rate Discount, Lease Rate Discount or Renewal Cash.

    If Finance or Lease rate discount, submit a copy of the following documents to Scotiabank;
    • Previous Ownership
    • New Ownership
    • RDR Print-out
    • Bill of Sale or Lease/Finance contract
    • Owner Renewal Claim Form

    If Cash Discount, all documents must be uploaded through the Special Marketing Program Tool in ICM for review by Ad-Check Promotion.

    Claims submitted 90 days after delivery will be subjected to a $100 late fee. No exceptions.
    Note:
    Owner Loyalty Program is on top of any discount that may be offered by dealers to their valued customers.


    Any dealership that gives the loyalty program to an ineligible customer will assume the cost of the discount to the ineligible customer.

    Incomplete forms or deals falling outside of the program parameters will not be eligible for the loyalty incentive.
    Funding procedure – CPO vehicles
    Scotiabank
    When entering the RDR, select the appropriate Renewal Type: APR Financing Rate Discount or Lease Rate Discount.

    If Finance or Lease rate discount, submit a copy of the following documents to Scotiabank;
    • Previous Ownership
    • New Ownership
    • RDR Print-out
    • Bill of Sale or Lease/Finance contract
    • Owner Renewal Claim Form

    In addition to the standard documentation for vehicle financing, the following additional documentation is required for the CPO Loyalty Program:

    For an existing Mazda owner provide the following:

    • Copy of the Mazda owner’s vehicle registration
    • Copy of the RDR Screen showing the vehicle is Certified Pre-Owned
    • Copy of the Mazda Added Protection Warranty, if applicable


    For a same household family member provide the following:

    • Copy of the vehicle ownership of the Mazda owner in the household
    • Copy of the TDAF Consent form signed by the loan applicant who is providing a copy of the Mazda owner’s vehicle registration. The TDAF Consent form can be found in the Forms Library in the Route One portal
    • Copy of the RDR Screen showing the vehicle is Certified Pre-Owned
    • Copy of the Mazda Added Protection Warranty, if applicable
    1st-Time Mazda Owners Program
    Purpose:
    This program allows First Time Owners’ (those customers with no prior automotive finance history) the ability to finance a new or certified pre-owned vehicle or lease a new Mazda vehicle.
    Program guidelines:
    Prior credit history not required to be approved on the Mazda FTO program

    Candidates:

    Must not have prior automotive credit history
    Must not have derogatory credit (delinquencies, charge-offs, or judgments)
    Must not have any negative equity

    Additionally, approval rates will increase with candidates that:

    • Have some other type of positive credit history, no matter how limited (e.g. credit card)
    • Have a reasonable down payment
    • Have proof of
    • insurance
    • Have proof of income
    Vehicle eligibility:

    This program applies to Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda5, Mazda6, CX-5 and Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles. New current model year Mazda2 customers also benefit from the program by receiving a $500 discount from their purchase. This program can also be used in combination with all other incentive programs, excluding the Mazda Graduate Rebate.
    Dealer reimbursement:

    Your dealership does not have to submit a claim form for reimbursement for the First Time Owners Program. This will be co-ordinated between Scotiabank and MCI, with payment for qualified First Time Owner deals delivered on your dealer statement. Customers will be qualified as First Time Owners through the RouteOne portal. Please see the Scotiabank First Time Owners Reference Guide for full program and process details (posted on the MDL).
    Mobility Program
    Purpose:
    Mazda Canada Inc. is proud to support the mobility needs of drivers and passengers with physical disabilities, with assistance toward the purchase and installation of adaptive driving aids or mobility assistance equipment.
    Program guidelines:

    Mazda Canada Inc. will provide up to $750 (including GST) towards the purchase and installation of adaptive driving aids or mobility assistance equipment on all eligible Mazda vehicles. Adaptive driving or passenger equipment includes wheelchair or other lift equipment, hand or other driving controls. Purchase and installation of equipment which costs less than the maximum $750 will be paid at the actual costs. Purchase and installation of equipment exceeding $750 will be paid a maximum of $750.
    Vehicle eligibility:

    This program applies to all new, unused and certified pre-owned vehicles including MCI company vehicles and Dealer demonstrators.
    Qualifying Process:


    Determine your Province's or Territory's Driver's License requirements regarding the use of mobility equipment.

    Evaluate your needs in conjunction with your medical service provider.

    Choose a qualified mobile equipment installer.

    Only the original owner of the vehicle is eligible.

    Modifications and equipment installation must be completed for the original owner or their immediate family.

    There will be only one re-imbursement request per vehicle.
