New 2024 Mazda MX-30 EV in Surrey, BC

Some shoppers like their vehicle’s exterior styling to shout about their environmentally friendly credentials, while others wouldn’t consider a vehicle that looks like it’s making a big statement. The 2024 Mazda MX-30 has some styling elements you might see as individual or unique, but it’s hard to imagine anyone finding the aesthetics of the Mazda polarizing or off-putting. The exterior of the MX-30 is sleek, sporty, perfectly proportioned, and not as tall as some small crossovers that can look a bit dumpy.

One design element you can’t fail to notice about the MX-30 is what the manufacturer refers to as “Freestyle Doors.” Of course, the MX-30 isn’t the first vehicle to have what many would call “suicide doors,” but they are unique in this class. Rather than conventional front and rear doors that open out the same way and have a pillar separating the front and rear openings, the front and rear doors of the MX-30 open in opposite directions to create a single, large open space that makes getting in and out a breeze.

If your budget allows, it could be tough to decide between GS and GT versions of the 2024 Mazda MX-30. However, it’s hard to imagine too many shoppers being disappointed by the standard specification of the more affordable of the two models. The MX-30 GS gets standard 18-inch alloys, LED lights, paddle shifters, air conditioning, black/grey combination cloth upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, rear parking sensors, and i-Activsense safety features. The GT also gets an infotainment system with an 8.8-inch display, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and navigation.

If you’d like an even more impressive specification, the GT adds to that with adaptive headlights with automatic levelling, front wiper de-icers, a power-operated glass moonroof, and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system. That’s not all, though, as the GT also features two-tone leatherette and cloth-trimmed upholstery, a walk-in power seat switch, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 360-degree View Monitor, front parking sensors, and more.
