Routine auto service keeps your Mazda model running in top shape on the road in Vancouver. Your make and model comes with a unique Mazda maintenance schedule, specially designed to catch mechanical issues while they’re small and easy to repair. When you follow your Mazda maintenance schedule to a T, you can rest assured that your car is getting premium care and attention! Read below for the Mazda3, Mazda6, and Mazda CX-5 maintenance schedules, and contact Freeway Mazda to learn about routine services for any Mazda model.

Mazda Maintenance Schedule: Oil Changes

Your Mazda3 maintenance schedule will vary depending on make and model, so be sure to check your owner’s manual for manufacturer-recommended oil change intervals. Mazda oil change schedules are designated either as “Set” or “Fixed.” What’s the difference?

  • “Flexible” oil change monitor setting — Change your Mazda vehicle’s oil when the wrench indicator is ON. At this point, you should also replace the oil filter, air filter, and cabin air filter. Don’t wait more than 12 months to between filter replacements.
  • “Fixed” oil change monitor setting — Punctually replace the oil every 6 months, the air filter at 30 months, and the cabin air filter every 24 months.
